Job Title: Quality Assurance Associate/Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Associate/Tester who can lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and use a hoist to move larger weights. The role involves using hoists to lower large units into water/liquid baths to check for leaks in radiator units. You will communicate findings with team members and supervisors, learn to patch small defects, and potentially progress into a brazing role.

Responsibilities

  • Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and use hoists to move larger weights.
  • Use hoists to lower large units into water/liquid baths to check for leaks in radiator units.
  • Communicate findings with team members and supervisors.
  • Learn to patch small defects and work closely with the brazing team to address issues.
  • Consistently test all finished coils for quality assurance and return them for further production or final assembly.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in inspection and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in using hoists.
  • Ability to conduct visual inspections.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in production environments.

Work Environment

You will work at one of two locations with shifts at Southlake and Whitepine Road. The role includes one first shift from 7 am to 3 pm and second shifts from 3 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Daily meetings at 2:30 pm are required for second shift workers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
