General Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated general laborer to join our team, assisting with drilling, cutting, and fabrication tasks. You will support welders and fabricators with daily responsibilities, prepare materials, and maintain a clean and efficient work environment. Responsibilities: Assist welders and fabricators with daily tasks.Prepare materials and tools needed for welding and fabrication. Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and tools. Load and unload materials and products. Operate basic hand and power tools. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications. Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and report any issues or defects in the assembly process. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.Essential Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience in general labor duties and production tasks. Capability to operate basic hand and power tools. Additional Skills&Qualifications: Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Experience in assembly and fabrication processes. Job Type&Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ruther Glen, VA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
