In this role, you will assemble or fabricate parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a manufacturing organization. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in an industrial setting.Job Summary: Assisting machinists and other skilled workers with their tasks to enhance productivity. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, which includes sweeping, mopping, and removing trash. Transporting materials and tools to and from the work area as needed. Preparing materials for production, including cutting, sorting, and packaging.Assisting in machine setup and teardown under the supervision of an experienced operator. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Performing basic maintenance tasks and troubleshooting under supervision. Participating in team meetings and contributing to productivity improvement discussions.Responsibilities: Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw gun, magnetic drill, grinders, sawsOperate calipers, tape measures, and other hand tool Perform self-quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards Utilize horizontal and vertical bandsaws to cut material Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Prioritize work flow through effective communication with management staffMaintain a clean and safe work area, take out trash, sweep floors.
