Warehouse Worker / Saw Operator
This role combines general warehouse duties with primary responsibility for operating a saw to cut customer orders to size. You will support daily material handling activities, learn to operate a sit-down forklift and saw equipment, and help maintain accurate inventory using SAP and RF scanners in a clean, organized, and relaxed warehouse environment.Responsibilities Operate the saw to cut plastic materials to precise customer specifications and order requirements. Perform general warehouse duties, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials. Operate a sit-down forklift safely to move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse.Use RF scanners to track, pick, and manage inventory accurately. Assist with receiving, labeling, and putting away incoming materials from manufacturers. Prepare and package customer orders for shipment to a variety of commercial clients. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the warehouse.Follow all safety procedures and equipment operation guidelines while handling materials and machinery. Collaborate with a small warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping goals. Learn and apply SAP processes to manage inventory and update order information. Essential Skills Willingness to learn new skills, including saw operation, forklift operation, SAP, and RF scanners.Dependable work habits, including consistent attendance and punctuality. Ability to perform general labor and material handling tasks in a warehouse environment. Basic proficiency using RF scanners for inventory management or readiness to be trained. Ability to operate or learn to operate a sit-down forklift safely.Capability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a small team. Additional Skills&Qualifications Experience with forklift operation in a warehouse setting is an advantage. Prior exposure to saw operation or cutting materials to size is helpful. Familiarity with SAP or other inventory management systems is a plus. Previous experience using RF scanners for picking and inventory control is beneficial.Comfort working with plastic materials and handling various sizes and weights of products. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
