Description
Some firms sell "fast-paced environments" and ping-pong tables. We offer something better: meaningful work, real experience, a respected reputation built over 20+ years in Riverside County, and a team people genuinely enjoy being around.
Family law is hard enough. Your workplace shouldn't be.
We're looking for a California Family Law Attorney who thrives under pressure, handles difficult personalities without losing their cool, and fights hard for clients, while still being someone the team actually wants around.
Our cases are serious. Our environment is one people choose to stay in.
You'll handle divorces, custody disputes, support issues, domestic violence matters, property division, and the occasional case that turns everyone's inbox into a war zone by 8:00 a.m. If you can juggle competing priorities, keep clients grounded, and still produce quality work, you'll fit right in.
You'll have autonomy here. You'll also have support.
This firm has spent over two decades building something worth joining - a practice where experienced attorneys mentor, staff actually knows their stuff, and the work is serious without the dysfunction.
We don't just say we value balance and trust, we've built a culture around it.
What Makes This Different Over 20 years of established presence in Riverside County Professional but laid-back office culture A culture where work-life balance is the norm, not the exception Support staff who know what they're doing Senior attorneys who are still in the trenches and invested in your developmentRoom to own your caseload without someone looking over your shoulder High-level cases without a toxic environment A team that laughs together, helps each other, and genuinely enjoys coming to work What You'll Do
Manage family law cases from beginning to resolution Prepare and file motions, pleadings, declarations, judgments, and settlement agreements Handle hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials Build cases trial-ready from day one while staying open to smart settlements Communicate directly with clients and guide them through difficult situationsPartner with paralegals and support staff to maintain organized, fast-moving files Who Thrives Here
Self-starters who take ownership of their caseload without waiting to be directed People who are organized, proactive, and solution-oriented Attorneys who bring levity to a tough practice area without ever losing their edge People who want to build a real litigation career without burning out in the processAttorneys who value both excellence and office culture Compensation&Benefits
Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonuses tied to results A team that has your back from day one A clear path to growth within a well-established practice Work-life balance that leadership actually respects
Responsibilities
• Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Maintain well-organized files that keep attorneys, paralegals, and staff consistently working from current information •Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action• Drive cases toward efficient resolution by staying in close communication with senior attorneys and paralegals • Stay current on relevant case law, attend required proceedings, and counsel clients under the guidance of senior attorneys • Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff• Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals • Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys
