Cross Lavinder Quinn & Park Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our clinical team and support our offices in Daleville, Vinton, and Roanoke, VA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Office Days: Monday thru Friday

Responsibilities:
Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
1 year or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
X-Ray certification
Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
