Apartment Maintenance Tech: Your Skills Keep Our Community Thriving! Are you a master of all trades? Do you take pride in fixing it right the first time? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team and become the backbone of our community. If you have solid experience in plumbing, electrical, and (ideally) HVAC, we want to talk to you!

salary: $45,000 - $46,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repair:
  • Complete routine maintenance and repair orders across multiple disciplines, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic carpentry.
  • Diagnose and repair various apartment systems, including major appliances, water heaters, locks, and fixtures.
  • Perform on-call emergency service as required, responding promptly and professionally to resident issues during off-hours.
• Unit Preparation (Turns):
  • Prepare or assist in preparing all vacant apartments to a "market ready" condition for new tenants.
  • Perform light construction work such as patching/hanging drywall, painting, and general aesthetic repairs.
• Preventative Care and Inspection:
  • Conduct regular inspections of units and common areas to identify and proactively address maintenance issues before they become major repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on building components and mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC units).
  • Assist in keeping grounds, common areas, and community amenities (including pools and spas, if applicable) clean and free of trash and debris.
