Implement and review safety policies and standards.Ensure timely installation and upkeep of equipment and systems for operational effectiveness and efficiency Assign technicians based on operational requirements, prioritizing based on urgency, and availability of resources, materials and equipment Manage, lead, mentor, train and supervise department team members including all personnel decisions, key metrics, and performance.Interact effectively with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work. Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks and timing with affected teams working closely with leadership from other areas. Ensure maintenance of records and documentation meets requirements and regulations Conducts root cause analysis of equipment failures and implements fix or changes.Ensure timely inspections. Qualifications, Education and Experience AOS degree (2 years) in technical discipline preferred. At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory role preferred At least 3 factory maintenance experience Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics.Solid working knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical processes related to manufacturing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook. Strong command of English language, both verbal and written Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.This position is primarily a day-shift position but will supervise employees on both day and night shifts, necessitating some amount of off-shift presence in the plant. Additionally, the nature of the work requires some amount of phone calls and urgent call-ins after hours and at times, on weekends.Because this is considered a "safety sensitive" role, this position is subject to preemployment drug testing as well as random drug testing.
