Your Role & Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end UX design for a native mobile app, from wireframes and flows to final UI

Translate research insights into intuitive user journeys, flows, and interactive prototypes

Design with scalability and modularity in mind using a composable architecture approach

Infuse accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA) throughout your design work

Partner closely with engineering and product to iterate quickly and align on priorities

Facilitate design workshops and synthesize input into cohesive, actionable design solutions

Present designs with clarity and advocate for user needs across the product lifecycle

Evaluate usability and run light user testing to validate key design decisions

Document and deliver detailed design specifications, collaborating within Agile sprints

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

7+ years of experience in user-centered design with demonstrable impact

Deep experience designing native mobile apps and using modern design systems

Strong visual communication and interaction design skills

Proactive and collaborative working style, with great organizational and communication skills

Strong ability to clarify complex problems and iterate efficiently

Fluent in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, and collaboration platforms like Mural or InVision

Experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments

Understanding of accessibility, inclusive design, and secure handling of patient medical data

Bonus Points If You Have:

Worked in healthcare or directly with physician stakeholders

Experience as the lead or solo designer on a complex product

Upper-level senior design experience with proven leadership

 

Education & Certifications You Need:

High School Diploma or GED required

No specific certifications required, but design education or UX bootcamp experience is a plus
