Description
The Traffic&Freight Admin is responsible for engaging WGO's logistical partners to ensure all materials arrive and depart in a timely and accurate manner. The Logistics Coordinator will also be the carrier's direct point of contact when reporting additional accessorial charges and will initiate and manage the claims process on behalf of WGO should overages, shortages or damages occur. The Traffic Lead also manages the team of courier drivers responsible for delivering chassis across the North Iowa production locations.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Work closely with all carriers and our contracted third-party logistics (3PL) provider to ensure material, billing, and documentation accuracy. File and manage claims process for carrier shipments, including major parcel and freight carriers such as FedEx and UPS. Track recovered claim costs and prepare monthly reports to leadership.Leverage existing and potential service providers (ex: Veriship) to ensure correct billing and fees. Work closely with WGO trade zone and customs business owners to ensure process visibility and regulatory compliance. Responsible for tracking and reporting all incremental and unplanned logistical costs.Maintain all processes and documentation requirements for your area of responsibility. Coordinate with the tactical purchasing team to ensure proper alignment of pickup schedules and delivery dates. Work with strategic sourcing team members when selecting carriers and 3PL partners. Work with other areas/locations/business units in optimizing logistical processes and specialty shipments.Coordinates daily chassis deliveries to North Iowa facilities and partners. Critical Competencies:

Knowledge of warehouse management processes and systems. Experience with Mainframe systems a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees as well as outside parties to communicate expectations and make recommendations to facilitate change.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and possess a high degree of ownership. Superior MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Self-directed with a high sense of urgency and strong bias for action in a high-pressure atmosphere daily. Required Education and Experience:

Associates degree highly desired. Equivalent experience and a combination of acceptable education and/or certifications may be accepted in lieu of degree. Knowledge of transportation responsibility instructions (Incoterms), coupled with a willingness to learn and teach others. 3+ years' experience in freight management or logistics desired.This position may require occasional travel to other Winnebago or partner locations.
