Retail Warehouse Associate, Geneva

We are looking for a reliable, selfmotivated individual to manage our warehouse operations. As our sole warehouse worker, you will be responsible for the organized storage of flooring materials, preparing orders for our installation teams, and assisting customers with pickups. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving& Inspection: Unload incoming shipments of viny and carpet; verify quantities against paperwork and inspect for damage.
• Order Staging: Pull and organize materials for daily installations to ensure our crews can load up and leave quickly each morning.
• Material Preparation: Learn to operate specialized machinery, such as a binding machine, to prepare specific customer orders.
• Inventory Control: Keep the warehouse organized and assist with periodic inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Customer Support: Professionally assist customers with loading heavy materials into their vehicles and answer basic product questions.
• Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean environment by sweeping, disposing of trash, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
• Deliveries: Occasionally use the company vehicle to make local deliveries to job sites. 

Requirements:

• Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
• Equipment Operation: Experience with a forklift and pallet jack is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
• Independence: Proven ability to manage a daily todo list without constant supervision.
• Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is required for making local deliveries. 
• Must be personable and dependable:Consistent attendance.

Standard Hours& Pay:

• Schedule: Typically Monday– Friday, daytime hours (e.g., 9:00 AM– 5:00 PM); and 4 hours every other Saturday, with a day off during the week.
• Compensation: Pay for this role is $19.00 per hour.
