Job Summary: Responsible for 3 of the following areas: Picking (carousel, automatic dispense machine (ADM), pick to light (PTL), voice picking, list picking via RF scanners), Packing (small order, multi tote, advanced shipment notice (ASN)), Problem resolve and Carrier Sorter. With time in position employee must demonstrate proficiency in these areas. Works under close supervision. Responsibilities I. Within established guidelines, picks and packs customer, distributor, and contract orders via courier requested for shipment. II. Incumbents will utilize material handling equipment as primary means of fulfilling orders such as Carousel, ADM, PTL, Voice Picking, List Picking via RF Scanners, Paper Picking, Manual Picking, Man-ups, and Fork trucks. III. Knowledgeable of Baan Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Kewill, Red Prairie Warehouse Management System for basic order processing, order look up, and general troubleshooting of problem orders. General Job Requirements: 1.Works scheduled holidays in order to maintain service levels for customers. 2.As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily departmentgoals or tasks to include mandatory Saturdays. 3.Works scheduled hours and is ready to work at scheduled start times, notifies Supervisor prior to absence or tardiness in accordance with company policy. 4.Immediately informs Coordinator/Supervisor/Manager of safety, sanitation, and equipment malfunctions and concerns regarding quality issues. 5.Exhibits good communication skills – verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language. 6.Adhered to Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory requirements. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Forklift and Man-up License, Kewill, BAAN, Red\Prairie Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), FedEx and UPS Software Knowledge Wedge/radio frequency (RF) scanners, voice headsets, shrink sealer, heat tunnel, tape gun, utility knife, ladders, step stools, zebra printers, tray former, and various packing components, Forklifts, Man-ups. Within IDB area, additional equipment used, Hydraulic Pallet, Manual Pallet, and Hand Truck. Work Environment: •Normal Warehouse Conditions. Noisy Conditions 50-75% Hot or Humid Conditions>75% Exposure to extreme seasonal temperatures>75% Work near moving mechanical parts>75%•Physical Demands: Standing>75% Sitting Walking 25 - 50% Climbing– 20 steps Bending – (8” above floor) 25-50% Squatting - (2” above floor) 25-50% Kneeling - Kneel on 1 or both knees – 1 minute Twisting 50-75% Lifting up to 45 lbs Reaching overhead - 80 inches>75% Hand/eye coordination>75% Finger/wrist dexterity>75% Grasping/pinching>75% Coupling– 30>75% Driving: Forklift, Man-up Experience: Ability to perform basic mathematic and problem-solving skills within a team based environment. PC Skills/ knowledge/ experience or equivalent training required. Education: High school diploma or GED required.
