Industrial Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing Operations

A well-established manufacturer is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance operations in a high-demand production environment. This role requires a hands-on professional with a broad skill set in mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance who can troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance duties across the facility, including plumbing, masonry, painting, welding, carpentry, and general building upkeep.

Install, diagnose, and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment, including automated systems and complex electrical controls.

Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Utilize blueprints, diagrams, and manuals to guide installations and repairs.

Use diagnostic tools and precision instruments for troubleshooting and repair of CNC and other numerical control systems.

Support general construction maintenance tasks as needed.

Maintain a clean and safe work area and strictly adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred.

8–10 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electrical work, preferably in a manufacturing or foundry setting.

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and automation controls.

Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, lifting up to 60 lbs, and performing physical tasks such as bending and pushing/pulling.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a fast-paced, industrial production environment.

Ability to mentor junior technicians and work collaboratively across departments.

Capable of stepping in for supervisory tasks when required.

Effective communicator with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
