Quality Control Inspector, Illinois

Position Title: Quality Control Inspector

Wage: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm

Immediate openings for experienced Quality Control Technicians in the Rockford area!

Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Conduct various product QA activities and examine production defects.

- Perform quality inspections of finished goods.

- Carry out first piece, last piece, and in-process inspections.

- Utilize gauges, calipers, and other measuring equipment to ensure parts meet specifications.

- Collaborate with machine operators to make necessary machine adjustments.

Quality Control Inspector Requirements:

- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role or related experience.

- Ability to pass a micrometer and caliper test.

- High School or GED diploma.

- Self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Experience in a production manufacturing environment.

- Familiarity with ISO standards.

- Proficiencies: Blueprint Reading; Quality Inspection Experience; Microsoft Office.

- Machines & Technologies: Calipers and Micrometers; Measurement Gauges; Hardness Tester; Tensile Testing Machine.
