JOB DESCRIPTION PRN RN/LVNs. We are looking for compassionate nurses with a passion for service, family values, and a true desire to help the elderly. Nurses with Heavenly Care enjoy flexible schedule options,an enjoyable work environment that is warm, positive, and supportive. We have nursing opportunities throughout the Austin Metro area. CURRENT HIRING EMPHASIS : RN/LVN for couples care in the Bee Cave area. Very easy visit. Med Box Fills, laundry, meal prep and provide transportation. Visit is on Tuesday's from 7am-2pm starting on May 26th for a training shift then June 2nd for regular scheduled shift. $45/hr for visit and mileage reimbursement for outings. Once active you will be eligible to work other nursing visits as well! RESPONSIBILITES Travel to assigned patient’s homes and manage their care plan according to physician’s instructions. Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit. Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs. Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress. Educating caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient. Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care. Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient. Requirements SKILLS Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, establish trust with patients, and deliverhigh-quality care that supports patient comfort and a positive care experience. . Able to take the initiative to make independent decisions when required and accept direction and requests from patients. The ability to follow instructions but also act independently if necessary. Excellent observational and problem-solving skills Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently. Flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments. Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shots, and setting up and monitoring IVs REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience working in the home care industry (or related industry – hospice, home health, hospital, etc.) Relevant license and certification that is current A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation RN payrate: $45/hr LVN pay rate: $40/hr E-verify company EOE FTHCA
