- PsyD or PhD in Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Current, active, and unrestricted California license in good standing
- Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical supervision experience, including serving as a primary supervisor for practicum students, interns, and/or postdoctoral fellows
- Experience with or exposure to APA-accredited or accreditation-seeking training programs preferred
- Demonstrated competency in psychological assessment, including autism assessment (ADOS-2 experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in clinical practice and training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Comfort using clinical and training-related technology (e.g., EHR systems, video conferencing, learning platforms)
- Ensure high-quality, consistent training experiences across practicum, internship, and postdoctoral levels
- Support continued progress toward APA accreditation
- Refine and strengthen systems that support trainee growth and program integrity
- Provide individual and group supervision using a developmentally informed approach
- Support trainee growth by adapting supervision to individual needs and progression over time
- Lead didactic trainings and contribute to a structured, high-quality learning environment
- Serve as a consistent and reliable resource for trainees
- Maintain and refine training systems, policies, and procedures
- Monitor trainee progress and provide clear, actionable feedback
- Ensure compliance with program requirements, timelines, and documentation standards
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of trainee documentation and clinical work
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of all trainees
- Partner closely with the Clinical Director and leadership team to strengthen training systems and operations
- Participate in trainee recruitment, interviewing, and selection
- Contribute to performance review processes and ongoing program improvement
- Support projects related to training operations, assessment efficiency, and program growth
- Help advance the organization’s progress toward APA accreditation
- Maintain a consistent testing caseload
- Model high-quality clinical care and reinforce organizational standards
- Balance clinical responsibilities with training leadership in a sustainable and consistent way
- Is passionate and experienced in neurodevelopmental assessment , with a commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care and developing the next generation of neuroaffirmative clinicians
- Adapts their supervision to meet each trainee where they are and supports growth toward independence
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage structure, timelines, and program requirements
- Thinks independently and can identify and address challenges within their scope while keeping leadership aligned
- Contributes to a supportive, collaborative team environment and values shared learning
- Balances clear expectations with a supportive, growth-oriented approach
- Finds meaning in both direct clinical work and developing others, and is energized by doing both
- Full-time, in-person position in Sacramento, CA
- Salary: $140,000/year
- Payroll processed biweekly; compensation subject to standard deductions and withholdings
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time team members, effective the first of the month following your start date
- $25,000 life insurance policy for full-time team members, effective the first of the month following your start date
- 401(k) Safe Harbor plan with employer match: 100% of employee contributions up to the first 3% of pay, and 50% of contributions on the next 2%, beginning after 12 months of employment
- Paid time off accrued at a rate of 8 hours per 160 hours worked, with increased accrual at 3 and 5 years
- 7 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday
- 5 days of paid sick leave
- $400 annual continuing education stipend
- Licensure fees covered
