Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team for a 1-year contract assignment in Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and supporting a wide range of control systems involving electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics, as well as software development for PLCs and HMIs. This role also includes debugging, commissioning, and supporting the installation of automated systems and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design electrical wiring diagrams, pneumatic, and hydraulic piping schematics.
Develop and implement PLC and HMI software solutions.
Engineer and design electrical control panels to meet project requirements.
Provide debugging, start-up, and commissioning support for control systems.
Offer technical support for equipment/tool installation and operator training.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery.
Travel to plant and customer sites as necessary for installation and support.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in programmable machine controls (hardware & software).
Strong experience with servo drive systems (hardware & software).
Expertise in AutoCAD for drafting and electrical design.
Knowledge of electrical and safety standards relevant to industrial automation.
Excellent troubleshooting and supervisory capabilities.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
2 4 years of hands-on experience in industrial control system design and support.
