Job Description

Receive food and beverage orders from guests. Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards. Operate cash register, complete monetary transactions, and maintain an accurate bank.

Refills, sets/resets, stocks, clears and cleans dishes, glassware, silverware, linens, condiments, beverages, napkin holders and all other related supplies.

Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount

Promote positive co-worker and guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, departments, and guests

Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, polite, and congenial and efficient attitude

Good customer service and communication skills

Relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate supervisor

Adhere to established company and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times

Must always adheres to health & sanitation guidelines

Knows and adheres to food and beverage policy and procedures

Maintain establish company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times

Greet and take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into Micros, complete cash, credit or comp transactions, and maintain an accurate bank

Prepare food orders, set trays, and transport food & beverage items to food service areas, guest rooms, to-go order waiting areas and banquet events in an efficient manner and provide excellent quality service

Delivery of supplies, liquor, beer, ice, requisitions, etc. must be completed as assigned and completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner

Responsible for setting tables including but not limited to proper dressing, napkins, silverware, tabletop condiments, ice buckets, etc.

Bussing tables and trays from guest rooms or hallways

Maintain breakdown area

Completes all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time

Must maintain an adequate supply of fresh linens, china, silver, glassware, and other food service accessories (bars, beer car, pump rooms, storage areas, etc.) at all times.

Refills salt and pepper shakers, napkin holders and all other related supplies

Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free environment within area of responsibility

Clears, clean and resets tables according to procedures

Cleans area under and around tables and hutches

Removing dirty room service carts and dishes from guest rooms and hallways

Trash/recyclable removal, proper transport, disposal, and cleaning of receptacles and other related equipment

Perform the following cleaning tasks as scheduled in assigned areas including but not limited to glass washer, ice machine, walls, stainless steel, floors, and drains, all trash/recycling receptacles and related equipment, towel dispenser, etc.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced operating mode.

Adheres to state liquor laws

Performs all related, compatible, and miscellaneous duties as assigned by leadership.
