Approves proposed project plans and database designs to ensure projects area aligned with standards and IT strategy. Allocates appropriate resources to ensure that projects are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other database systems. Approves database analysis and development policies, standards and procedures. Manages the coordination and facilitates the design, implementation and control of data management concepts and techniques. Makes recommendation's on data base development in assigned areas. Analyzes long term requirements of data base administration and design to meet current and future business needs.Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Five to eight years of related experience in database and information systems environments Preferred Skills/Experience - Thorough knowledge of database systems and technology, especially industry specific applications - Thorough technical and business knowledge of the business units supported, including organization policies and procedures - Strong analytical, project management and tactical planning skills - Demonstrated management and leadership skills - Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsOur approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members' whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
