Precision Machinist I
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Reads and interprets blueprints. Mechanically Minded
Mechanical aptitude and good math skills are required. Inspect close tolerance parts&Attention to Detail. Must be fluent in use of calipers, micrometers, and general measuring devices. Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery. Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions. No direct reports. Produces machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with other employees of the organization. Contacts with other departments or offices and frequently with individuals in middle level positions; consulting on problems which necessitate judgment and tact in presentation to obtain cooperation or approval of action to be taken.Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Education: Some form of related Tech School education desired Required Skills/Qualifications: 1-2 years in manufacturing related position, medical device industry preferred Exceptional attendance Must be able to work in a high-volume area Candidate must be able to multi-task Team Player-Open to new ideas and team work, self-motivated individual, willing to continually increase personal knowledge and value.
