At TelCom Construction, as a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our recruiting operations by
coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist (Coordinator) provides
the best possible administrative and technical assistance in support of the human resources function, and the best
possible administrative support to the recruitment team, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

What you’ll do as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
Schedule interviews across teams and time zones, often managing multiple calendars and stakeholders.
Partner with management team to perform recruitment activities including scheduling interviews
Create, update, and maintain onboarding templates, dashboards, and process documentations.
Assists with other HR administrative functions and special projects as assigned.
Ensures adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies.
Collaborates with HR team members to implement continuous improvements to processes related to recruitment,
onboarding, and compliance.
Supports ongoing HR program initiatives such as job description creation, training coordination, system updates,
posting on social media, and internal communications.
Post open roles to internal and external job boards, helping to ensure our employer brand is consistently
represented.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date candidate records in applicant tracking system (ATS), including contact details,
job classifications, and reporting structures.
Working knowledge of HR systems and practices related to recruiting and onboarding.
Assist with coordinating new hire orientation for prospective employees
Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates to ensure a high-quality experience throughout the
hiring process.
Participate in recruiting events such as job fairs and campus visits, occasionally requiring travel (up to 10%).
Support recruiters with candidate outreach and sourcing activities.
Collaborate with HR, operations, and other internal teams to support cross-functional efforts related to hiring
logistics.
Assist with recruiting metrics, activity tracking, and reporting to help identify process improvements.
Promote a positive candidate experience that aligns with our organizational values and standards.
Perform other duties and tasks as required to support the HR and Talent Acquisition team.

What you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Relevant associate degree required or bachelor’s degree in HR preferred, or equivalent experience
1–2 years of experience in recruiting coordination and/or HR support
Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (e.g., iCIMS, Workday, SuccessFactors)
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a variety of stakeholders
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Mail & Drive
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
Team player with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Valid state driver’s license (cannot be provisional) including and acceptable driving record.
