design/construction -related deficiencies associated with grading and drainage, stormwater management and stormwater conveyance, underground utility systems, erosion control, concrete flatwork, road design, maintenance of traffic, and hardscape systems Experience with:

Design of roads including sight distance analysis, roadside design, vehicular use areas, parking lot design, pedestrian and vehicular ingress/egress ways. Stormwater management design, hydrology, and modeling of

retention/detention

facilities, culverts, storm drain systems, and open channels. Knowledge of FEMA floodplains and regulations a plus. Applicability of MUTCD including maintenance of traffic and underground utility markings and protection of utilities. Preparation, permitting, and construction implementation of civil/site construction plans including NPDES permitting, sediment and erosion control design and inspectionsMunicipal zoning and variance hearings

Conduct unbiased investigations for various types of clients Responsible for retention and development of client relations Prepare oral and written reports in layman's terms that document causes of failure, extent of loss, and recommended remediation Deliver professional presentations, develop client relationships and promote self to client groupsSupport conclusions by appropriate expert testimony in legal proceedings Accept and integrate constructive feedback into job performance Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, review professional publications, establish personal networks and participate in professional societies

Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required Minimum of five (5) years of civil/site development experience P.E. (Professional Engineer) registration required through testing Must possess strong writing skills Public speaking experience a plus Exceptional interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to accept and integrate constructive feedback
