Resort Security Officer

Craguns Resort on Gull Lake is looking for personable, detail-oriented, and independent individuals to join our guest experience team as a Resort Security Officer! We are hiring a PART-TIME 3rd (11pm-7am) shift officer! Job Purpose A successful candidate in this position holds high responsibility for the safety of our guests and facilities, while ensuring a good time is being had by all. Our Security and Transportation team members spend a lot of time interacting with guests, answering questions, assisting with any needs guests may have, and transporting them to their activities. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for great customer service and a high priority for safety!Duties and Responsibilities This is an AWAKE Overnight Security Position Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points Large focus on running shuttles for golfers, groups, special events etc. Greet and identify visitorsPrevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers Controls traffic by directing drivers Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions and provide information during non-business hours or when front desk is not availableMonitor all cabins, buildings, and systems De-escalate situations in a friendly and professional manner Work in other 'Guest Experience' departments as needed (ie.,front desk, marina, housekeeping, and conference services) Requirements Must be able to pass a background check Comfortable with overnights a plusA valid driver's license with a clear driving record is required Must have excellent verbal communication skills Must be extremely organized, personable, and enthusiastic Benefits: 401k opportunities Discounts on dining, lodging, gift shop, marina, golf.
