Description
SteadyMD is a fast-growing telehealth startup seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Engineering team. We're building the future of healthcare delivery through innovative technology, and we need someone who can keep our development process organized, documented, and on track as we scale.
As a Project Manager reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and the development team. Your primary focus will be documenting ongoing work with precision and detail. You'll attend stakeholder meetings to capture decisions and requirements, manage the development backlog in Jira, and ensure clear communication flows between technical and business teams. Think of yourself as part technical stenographer, part project coordinator - the person who ensures nothing falls through the cracks. This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to do some work from home, as well as on-site work at our St. Louis headquarters.
Responsibilities
Manage software development projects using agile methodologies
Document ongoing work in Jira including user stories, tasks, and bugs
Track deliverables, milestones, and project timelines
Attend meetings between engineering leadership and business stakeholders
Document feature requirements, project scope, and technical decisions
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or related field
3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in software development
Strong knowledge of Jira and project management tools
Experience with agile development methodologies
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Experience in healthcare or telehealth industry preferred
Experience with agile ceremonies and tools highly valued
Scrum Master certification a plus
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Excellent verbal and written communication
Problem-solving and critical thinking
Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Meeting facilitation and stakeholder management
Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
Benefits
Competitive Compensation. The annual salary range for this role is $85K-100K contingent on experience
Fast-paced Startup Environment. An environment that is focused on disrupting the status quo and challenging conventional professional norms. We are focused on the results you can achieve, not how many hours you spend at a desk
Complimentary Lemonaid Primary Care Membership. So that you can experience what we have to offer, and be able to speak first-hand about what the future of medicine will look like
Company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance. Also includes Basic Life and ADAD offerings
401k & Parental Leave Benefits offered to all full-time employees
Unlimited PTO. We trust our employees to make the right decisions for the business, and we also recognize that means taking time to take care of yourself
