Overview
Design and drive scalable, secure software architectures in a mission-driven environment, balancing hands-on development with long-term strategic leadership.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain high-level and detailed software architecture solutions
Guide engineering teams on best practices, modernization, and long-term tech strategy
Translate business/technical requirements into robust system designs
Ensure systems are secure, resilient, and observable
Mentor engineers and define architectural backlog priorities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
5+ years in software engineering or architecture
Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or Golang
U.S. Citizenship + Active Top Secret clearance
Preferred
MBSE, C4 modeling (Structurizr), Architecture Decision Records (ADR), zero-trust security
Security:
Active TS/SCI required (or ability to obtain)
