Edward Jones is modernizing its Human Capital Management (HCM) technology landscape, including Oracle Cloud HCM and a new enterprise data integration platform. We are looking for an Oracle HCM Developer with deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud technologies to support our transition to Oracle Fusion. This role will also partner closely with payroll and business stakeholders to design, enhance, and optimize payroll solutions using Oracle best practices.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical proficiency in HCM data integrations, APIs, and Fast Formulas, along with hands‑on experience within the payroll module. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, scalable, and compliant payroll functionality while contributing to the successful modernization of our HCM ecosystem.
What You'll Do:
Align business solutions and product value delivery to our strategies, technical roadmap, and digital transformation.
Responsible for applying business and technical knowledge to ensure availability of systems, and to provide quality solutions for business and enterprise software needs
Contribute to the architecture of a hybrid Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Azure-based data integration platform
Plan and advise on advanced Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud configurations and integrations in areas such as Payroll, Benefits, and/or Talent Acquisition
Develop and maintain interfaces between Oracle Fusion Cloud and third-party systems using OIC, REST APIs, and HDL
Customize and support Redwood UI pages and HCM configurations
Develop and enhance Fast Formulas, payroll experience a plus
Support payroll-related technical issues and assist stakeholders during payroll runs
Provide leadership related to technical aspects of tools, methodologies, best practices and processes and standards
Research technical improvements and takes the initiative to communicate/implement solutions.
Participates and represents area in cross-functional groups.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications or Engineeringpreferred or related work experience.
Minimum of 7 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM
Deep expertise with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, including multiple areas such as configurations, role-based security, HDL, OTBI/BIP, HCM Extract, Payroll Flows, and Fast Formulas.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle ATP/ADW, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Strong background in PL/SQL, REST APIs, ETL concepts, event driven architecture, CI/CD, and version control
Functional understanding of Oracle HCM applications (Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, and Benefits, etc.)
Proficient in Fast Formulas, Journeys, Extensible and Descriptive Flex fields and personalizations.
Takes personal responsibility to improve processes and systems.
Able to create a strong team environment and build technical skills through training and mentoring others
Establish and maintain effective relationships across departments, business areas, and vendors.
Demonstrates the ability to provide strategic direction and technical leadership to align objectives with the overall Firm strategy
Ability to perform analysis of system requirements to determine feasibility, costs, benefits
