Service Technician, Randolph, NJ

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Service Technician to join a leading Company located in the Randolph, NJ surrounding area.

Salary: $62,400 - $83,200  

Service Technician will be responsible for customer support on sitefor machine installation, troubleshooting, and rebuilds.Job will be 60%+ on the road and based in Tampa, FL orRandolph, NJ whennot on the road. Support for service technicians will be fromthe Service Manager. All parts, machine problems, and additional details will be provided to the service technician before the job starts. The goal is to schedule travel and work during normal workweek hours; sometimes off-hour work will be needed, but that will be compensated. The service technician will report directly to the Service Manager and Director of Operations. 

Job Responsibilities:  

• Rebuild existing parts of custom automated machinery purchased by customers.
• Work on the lineup and installation of machines run and testedat facility. 
• Assist customers in troubleshooting machines where they haveissues. 
• Fill out service and expense reports at endof each trip.
• Assist customers in creating spare part requests.  
• Work with servicemanager to recommend spare parts and installation for warnor outdated components.  

Basic Hiring Criteria: 

• Ability to perform math calculations (i.e.fractions and decimals).
• Experience in using basic hand and power tools is recommended but not required.  
• Ability to navigate a computer (CAD experience helpful but not required) 
• Ability to read pneumatic and electrical schematics. 
• 4 years experienceworking in automation machinery.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel.
