A respected manufacturer in the concrete construction and landscape products industry is seeking a Shop & Parts Assistant for their facility in Roberts, WI. With a legacy of more than 75 years, this organization plays a vital role in shaping the communities where people live, work, and play. This position supports maintenance operations by managing parts, coordinating with vendors and technicians, and ensuring a clean, efficient workspace.

Responsibilities

Maintain working areas in a clean and organized condition

Obtain quotes for parts and supplies

Coordinate with vendors regarding part availability

Pick up and deliver parts as needed

Communicate with mechanical technicians to determine part requirements

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Physical capability to perform essential duties:

Sitting

Lifting/carrying 10–40 pounds

Standing, walking, and climbing

Squatting, crouching, kneeling, and bending

Pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead

Comfortable working in varied indoor/outdoor environments, including hot or cold temperatures

Ability to work safely around moving machinery and in noisy conditions
