School Psychologist in Cottage Grove, MN

Step into an impactful role supporting students' academic and emotional growth in a welcoming, collaborative school environment. This contract opportunity runs from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a full-time, 37.5-hour workweek. You'll work at one building, serving both elementary (K-5th grade, 25-35 students) and middle school (6th-8th grade, 20-30 students) caseloads. As a School Psychologist, you'll utilize your skills to help students succeed and thrive.

Key Qualifications:

Valid MN School Psychologist license required Experience developing, implementing, and supporting IEPs Familiarity with elementary and middle school student needs Strong background in counseling and behavioral intervention strategies Exceptional collaboration and communication skills Ability to assist with crisis intervention and support student safety initiativesCommitment to fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and educators Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to guide IEP planning Provide individual and group counseling Design and deliver behavioral health interventions Partner with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success Participate in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and school safety planningEnsure compliance with applicable laws and educational standards Benefits&Perks:
