As a Senior Electrical Engineer , you will play a key leadership role within the construction design team. This position involves working directly with clients, leading engineering efforts across multiple projects, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of electrical documentation. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical design efforts across multiple projects from bidding through construction.

  • Coordinate design solutions by applying industry knowledge while balancing client needs and project budgets.

  • Serve as a technical resource and primary engineering lead for project teams.

  • Provide value engineering and efficiency recommendations for existing designs.

  • Develop detailed electrical drawings and models using applied theoretical and practical design knowledge.

  • Guide and support junior engineers and other team members throughout the design process.

  • Participate in client meetings and maintain communication with consultants, project teams, and permitting authorities.

  • Ensure all electrical documentation meets quality standards and applicable codes.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of directly related electrical engineering or electrical design experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical design fundamentals and installation practices.

  • Working knowledge of NEC, IBC, IECC, and life safety codes.

  • Experience with CADD software preferred but not required.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills at both strategic and functional levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
