Advanced Writing Instructor

The Advanced Writing Instructor provides individualized, workshop-based, and classroom instruction to graduate-level students through the Graduate Writing Center (GWC). This role supports students' development in academic writing, research, critical thinking, and communication skills. Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct one-to-one writing consultations Review student drafts Provide synchronous and asynchronous support Develop consultation strategies Complete client reports Course Development: Develop and teach graduate-level courses Collaborate with faculty Deliver foundational presentationsWorkshops and Research: Design and deliver workshops Edit faculty and institutional materials Conduct writing-related research Maintain online resources Please note that this list is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required for this job.
