Summary:

The Security Architect is responsible for designing enterprise&systems security throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

This role involves translating technology&environmental conditions (laws®ulations), into effective security designs&processes, w/ a focus on implementing Zero Trust (ZT) principles. Must design, develop,&implement security architectures for enterprise systems throughout the development lifecycle, incorporating ZT principles. Must be able to support 1) Regulatory Compliance: Translate laws, regulations,&environmental conditions into security designs&processes, 2) Lifecycle Management: Ensure security is integrated at every stage of the system&software development lifecycles, 3) Collaboration: Work w/ cross-functional teams to meet security requirements,&4) Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date w/ security trends, threats,&best practices. Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum Qualifications:

AA/AS Degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university -or- Substitute 3+ Yrs of related EXP. Training, Certifications, EXP,&Clearance Requirements:

IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) Certification&applicable CE/OS Certification.

EXP w/ regulatory compliance, lifecycle management, collaboration,&staying informed. Also requires EXP w/ Zero Trust, Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory, GitLab, SaaS Security,&Palo Alto. EXP w/ ACAS, Microsoft Defender, STIGs, Microsoft 365, SaaS Security, RHEL, Windows Server, MacOS,&eMASS. Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $108,891.20 to $122,502.60 annually.
