Distribution Associate II / Forklift

Hiring a distribution Forklift Associate with experience with large pallets. You will be loading AC Units the size of small automobiles with a forklift on flatbed trucks and performing general shipping / receiving duties to facilitate orders.

* Must have experience with large pallets - Commercial side.

PAY RATE: $20.00hr

LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT 84104

HOURS: (M-F) 7:30am to 4:30pm

DUTIES:

Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift.

Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.

Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.

Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.

Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.

Completes written and computerized documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with large pallets. You will be loading AC Units the size of automobiles onto flatbed trucks.

Forklift certified

Drug Test

Background Check

RF/scan gun experience

Basic computer skills (email, MS Word, excel)

SAP experience would be a preference

Punctuality is necessary

ABILITIES:

Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.

Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability.

Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.

Effective verbal communication skills.

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
