Job Description Customer Service and Collections Representative
Mason, Ohio
Pay: $20-$24/hour
Schedule: 1st shift
Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our client in Mason, Ohio to hire a Customer Service and Collections Representative. This is a 1st shift, contract-to-hire opportunity supporting customer service and accounts receivable functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers while confidently handling billing and collections conversations.
Job Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound customer calls regarding invoices, account balances, and payment status Perform collection activities on past due accounts while maintaining positive customer relationships Address billing questions and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner Document customer interactions, payment arrangements, and follow-up activity accuratelyProcess payments and update account information within internal systems Work closely with internal departments to resolve account issues Provide general customer service support via phone and email as needed Qualifications
Previous customer service experience required B2B collections experience Collections or accounts receivable experience preferred Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to professionally handle sensitive financial conversations Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Comfortable working with ERP, accounting, or CRM systemsProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why This Role
