About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Controller to lead and oversee its accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and corporate support functions.
This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in technical accounting, reporting standards, and audit coordination.
The successful candidate will be responsible for directing daily accounting activities, leading a team of divisional controllers, and ensuring the preparation of accurate and compliant financial statements.
Additionally, the VP, Controller will serve as the primary technical accounting resource, strengthen financial governance, and manage both internal and external audits.
Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, legal counsel, and investors, is also a key aspect of the position.
Applicants for the VP, Controller role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years' in a senior controllership leadership capacity.
A strong foundation in public accounting, an active or inactive CPA designation, and a proven track record of leading accounting organizations in complex business settings are essential.
The role requires advanced knowledge of consolidated reporting, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and tax coordination, as well as a demonstrated ability to implement and enhance financial processes and systems.
