We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Logistics Manager.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our construction logistics operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, as well as a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and a strong understanding of construction processes.
This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive, and organized individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain an efficient and effective logistics strategy for all construction projects
• Plan and coordinate all transport and delivery activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of materials and equipment, ensuring adequate supply at all times
• Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating prices and terms for materials and equipment purchases
• Oversee logistics team, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Coordinate with project managers and other departments to ensure smooth and timely project execution
• Resolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise during construction projects
• Monitor and track project and logistics expenses to ensure budget compliance
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles and best practices
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Salary: $120,000-$150,000 per year
