Business Litigation Associate Location– Irvine, CA Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking a talented Business Litigation Associate to join our sophisticated and nationally recognized Business Litigation group in our Orange County office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation matters within a collaborative, growth-focused environment.About the Role

As our practice continues to expand on the West Coast, we are seeking a driven associate with 3–6 years of experience in business litigation. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to build their practice, gain hands-on experience, and work closely with experienced litigators on high-stakes matters—without the expectation of bringing a portable book of business. Key Responsibilities

Represent corporate and individual clients in complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract, business torts, fraud, trade secrets,

partnership/shareholder

matters, and unfair competition claims Support all phases of litigation from pre-litigation evaluation through trial or resolution Draft and argue motions, manage written discovery, and take and defend depositions Participate in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials Provide practical, business-focused legal analysis and recommendationsCollaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client development Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school 3–6 years of experience in

business/commercial

litigation Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions Admission to practice in California Why Tucker Ellis?
