We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Microsoft-based infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient identity and messaging systems across our enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and modernization of Microsoft infrastructure, including AD, Exchange, and Entra ID.
Design and implement directory services strategies, including domain consolidation/migration, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management.
Oversee secure and scalable identity architecture across on-prem and cloud environments.
Provide technical leadership for hybrid Exchange environments and support migration to Exchange Online.
Evaluate and improve existing infrastructure, identifying areas of risk or opportunity.
Collaborate with security, networking, and cloud teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to internal IT teams.
Requirements
Proven experience in enterprise IT infrastructure architecture with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
Deep expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and online).
In-depth knowledge of Entra ID/Azure AD, including Conditional Access, SSO, identity protection, and hybrid configurations.
Strong experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration with Microsoft 365.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex directory and messaging environments.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Exchange Server, or similar).
Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation for identity management.
Familiarity with modern security protocols and frameworks.
