Responsibilities:
Develop control software to operate and monitor products during regulatory and reliability testing
Troubleshoot testing operations and control software used in the regulatory and reliability test lab
Collaborate with product design teams and regulatory engineers to develop product test plans
Promote and share design best practices between supported NPI design teams
Promote teamwork and cooperative effort
Provide customers with highest quality of products and services
Understand and apply appropriate quality improvement processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science or combination of work experience and skills background
Ability to communicate effectively across functional organizations
Ability to be responsible for the technical and quality aspects of Software designs
Demonstrated knowledge of theory and practice of scientific or engineering concepts
Ability to effectively multi-task
Ability to work independently given general direction
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office Tools
Desired Skills:
Programming in one or more of the following: Vee, VB, C++, C#, Matlab, perl, python, C
Instrumentation or process control experience
Experience with regulatory or environmental testing of electronic products
Experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators or network analyzers
Experience with administration, upgrading, modifying PCs & laptops
The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills;
Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
California pay range: MIN $(phone number removed), MIDPOINT $(phone number removed) - MAX $(phone number removed)
Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
