Guest Service Supervisor

Sandcastle Hotel on the Beach is looking for an outstanding Guest Service Supervisor to join the team! The Guest Service Supervisors are hands-on, team-oriented professionals with high standards and are driven to exceed our guest's expectations on a daily basis. Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following; maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guest. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Supervise, train, coach and retrain Guest Service Team on systems, processes, procedures and guest interaction. Oversee and ensure accountability in all aspects of Guest Service Team's performance. Responsible for all front office activity during scheduled. Monitor and adjust room availability. Check Room Attendant's list and ensure room availability status is accurate. Check and audit banks. Maintain good guest relations by keeping abreast of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses in person and on the phone. Contribute to and maintain established information and communication sources such as department and front desk log books in order to enhance department communications and operations. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel. Preferred: Microsoft Office Intermediate Education

Required: High School or better. Experience

Required: Must have open availability. Preferred: Personal Skills Highly organized and efficient. Pro-active and results driven. Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility. Leads by example and with integrity. Excellent communicator and team motivator. Business-like, socially engaged, passionate, expressive demonstrating a positive attitude. Professional Skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Experience with hotel operations software sales programs. Skillful in project planning/ tasks and able to prioritize projects/ tasks 1-3 years: Work Experience: At least 1-3 years' experience in a like or similar role within hotel operations demonstrating progressive career path responsibilities.
