Responsibilities Staff Management: Train, and supervise kitchen staff including line cooks, and prep cooks, Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback Address staff issues and maintain a positive work environment Food Quality and Safety: Ensure all food is prepared according to recipe standards and quality specificationsMonitor food temperatures and proper food handling practices Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen workspace, adhering to all local health and safety regulations Conduct regular food safety inspections Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and minimize food waste Manage food costs and identify areas for cost reductionKitchen Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and timely food service Coordinate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and service Monitor kitchen equipment and schedule maintenance as needed Qualifications Bilingual/Spanish Strong leadership and supervisory skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in inventory management and cost control Ability to work effectively under pressure
