As a key member of the diagnostic imaging team, you will provide exceptional care while adhering to strict safety protocols and utilizing the latest imaging technology to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient scans under the supervision of a nuclear medicine physician

Calculate and administer radioisotope dosages to patients

Operate radioscopic equipment with a focus on safety and quality imaging

Follow strict radiation safety protocols in all procedures

Provide compassionate care, ensuring patients are informed and comfortable during imaging

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technologist training program

California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire

National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine upon hire

National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire

6 months of experience within the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with no more than a 1-year absence from nuclear medicine

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of experience in nuclear medicine (not required if a recent graduate from an approved technician training program)
