Ace Hardware is seeking a highly skilled Retail Inventory Associate to join our team.
As an Inventory Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, implementing best practices, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
We are looking for both Full time and Part Time.
Responsibilities:
Ensure adequate inventory levels to minimize outages
Follow developed receiving processes
Train on inventory management best practices
Monitor inventory management reports
Implement location codes and cycle counting
Assist with the introduction of new items to store mix
Identify obsolete inventory and determine removal strategies
Monitor shrinkage and recommend ways to reduce theft and breakage
Receiving/unloading weekly trucks
Requirements:
Willingness to learn all services provided at the store
8 hour shifts
Weekend availability and open availability are a must
Must have computer skills to receive and enter invoices
Education/Training:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
Retail experience preferred
Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, bending, lifting ****** lbs)
Ladder climbing several times a day
