Our Mechanic Shop is looking to find experienced and hard working individuals to join our team as an Administrative Assistant!
Our Branch Admins perform daily and weekly administrative responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner. Assist management as needed in administrative duties.
Hours are Monday through Friday between 7am to 4:30pm, and overtime/weekends may be required.
Mechanic Shop Duties
Handles breakdown calls as needed.
Approve, enter, and file all shop invoices.
Administration and management of on road compliance i.e.: DMV registrations, IFTA processing and filing, IRB/IRP processing, and HUT processing and filing
Responsible for weekly billing of branches for repair work and supplies.
Assess accuracy of parts inventory.
Verify and maintain all DOT inspection paperwork.
Provide up-to-date company paperwork required in all vehicles as communicated by Company drivers and managers.
Prepare periodic cost and operational reports for management.
Stay up to date with Department of Transportation regulations.
Vehicle/ Equipment Service and Maintenance
Track service mileage and hours for all vehicles.
Schedules vehicles for service and repairs.
Prepare work orders for service and repairs for mechanics and outside vendors.
Maintain repair history for all company vehicles.
General Expectations
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Be aware of surroundings at all times.
Develop new and existing skills through educational programs including, seminars, product knowledge training and clinics.
Willing to become a member of a committee/team for current or new programs to ensure their success.
Attendance at Company/store meetings is mandatory.
Other duties may be assigned
