Security Systems Technician / Integration Specialist, Clifton Park

Job Description:
Open Systems NE is a rapidly growing security integrations company seeking a skilled and motivated Security Systems Technician to join our team. In this fulltime role, you will install, program, and service advanced security solutions including access control systems, intrusion detection systems, fire alarm systems, automatic door operators, and video surveillance (CCTV) systems for commercial and industrial clients.

The ideal candidate is handson, detailoriented, and comfortable working with lowvoltage systems and modern security technologies. You’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, highquality installations while ensuring customer satisfaction and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure access control, intrusion, fire alarm, and camera systems
• Run and terminate lowvoltage wiring
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ensure all installations meet industry standards and safety codes
• Provide onsite support and excellent customer service
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to complete jobs efficiently

Qualifications:

• Experience with lowvoltage systems, security integrations, or automatic doors preferred
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion, door automation systems, or fire alarm systems is a plus
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
