HHM Hotels is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales for our highly anticipated lifestyle hotel currently under development in the heart of Manhattan. As a key leader for this premier New York property, you will spearhead the pre-opening sales strategy and launch phases. You will be responsible for developing and executing a sophisticated sales and marketing plan that establishes a dominant presence in the competitive NYC landscape, maximizing revenue through direct sales, e-commerce, and high-profile community partnerships.Your Growth Path Area Director of Sales– Regional Director of Sales Your Focus Strategic Launch: Lead the pre-opening sales efforts by developing comprehensive strategic plans that incorporate all business segments and align with the hotel's lifestyle positioning. Revenue Generation: Achieve annual hotel revenue goals by identifyingcustomer business requirements and crafting tailored offers that increase market share.Relationship Management: Build and maintain high-level relationships with key accounts and community partners to drive customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty. Leadership: Interview, select, and mentor a high-performing sales team, modeling professional selling techniques and fostering a commitment to HHM core values.Market Analysis: Use internal and external data to monitor objectives, identify sales trends, and take proactive action to correct any shortfalls against the marketing plan. Your Background and Skills Four-year college degree required; advanced coursework in business, marketing, or communications is a plus.Proven sales leadership experience in a lifestyle hotel or comparable high-end NYC property. Experience in hotel pre-opening and launch phases is highly preferred. Public relations and community marketing experience required. Proficiency in Excel, Word, sales software, and access database tools.Strong presentation skills and the ability to negotiate complex terms that satisfy both internal and external requirements.
