A Security Agent at The Sagamore Resort is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and property. This role requires a professional presence, strong guest service skills, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to a variety of situations while upholding the resort's standards of excellence, discretion, and hospitality.Essential Duties&Responsibilities:

Provide a visible security presence throughout the resort property, including patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and docks Greet and assist guests in a courteous, professional manner while maintaining security awareness Monitor and control access to resort facilities as required Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and guest or employee concernsComplete detailed incident reports, daily logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner Enforce resort policies and procedures while maintaining a calm and respectful approach Coordinate with resort departments to support special events, VIP arrivals, and large guest functions Assist with lost and found procedures and documentationMonitor surveillance systems and report suspicious or unsafe activity Provide first response assistance when necessary and contact emergency services as appropriate Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment at all times Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required NYS Guard Card (preferred) Prior security, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional Attention to detail and strong observational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to patrol large resort grounds, both indoors and outdoors Job Type : Full-time or Part Time
