Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the food processing industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join their team. As a Production Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production line and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Saratoga Springs, NY Pay Range: $21/hour Shift: Rotating Schedule, Days/Nights, Swing Shifts What's the Job? Operate, adjust, and repair production equipment to meet customer specifications and quality standards. Disassemble, overhaul, and rebuild machinery under supervision to ensure optimal performance.Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime. Input data into computer systems for product identification, labeling, and palletizing finished goods. Conduct inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.What's Needed? Ability to follow safety practices, policies, and procedures diligently. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication skills to relay information across shifts and teams. Willingness to rotate through various workstations for coverage, relief, and training purposes.Basic record-keeping skills and familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
