Description

Job Description:
Design of complex analog circuit card assemblies
Design, analysis, and verification of analog circuits for FPGA and microcontroller interfaces such as PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, DDR, Ethernet, ARINC, ****, etc.
Design, simulation, and verification of high-speed interfaces (Signal Integrity)
Circuit design tasks including part selection, schematic capture, PWB creation support, performance analysis/simulation, and design verification testing
Support testing and troubleshooting of systems, modules, and sub-assemblies of digital modules
Work closely with PWB packaging and layout engineers
Generate and review engineering documentation including test procedures, drawings, specifications, reports, ECOs, etc.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and supporting teams for defect resolution and root cause analysis
Drive product and test design improvements to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput
Provide training/support to technicians and manufacturing personnel
Lead/Mentor junior engineers
Interface with customers and suppliers as required
Support legacy design obsolescence and reverse engineering activities
Required/Preferred Skills:
Experience with Siemens (Mentor) DX Designer
Hyperlynx
EMI and lightning protection
High Voltage Power Design
Digital or mixed signal design
Board layout support
