Description What You’ll Do As our Architectural Product Designer / Estimator, you’ll play a key role in transforming architectural intent into real-world products. This position is a Hybrid Remote position. Read and interpret complex architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications Perform takeoffs and prepare detailed, accurate project quotations Estimate time and materials using established methods and Excel-based formulas Collaborate directly with Architects to develop designs from concept to finished product Work closely with customers to refine designs in accordance with architectural plans Lead and coordinate projects across Production, Engineering, Sales, outside reps, and subcontractors Solicit and qualify vendor and subcontractor quotes to secure competitive pricing Anticipate customer needs and proactively resolve issues Exercise sound judgment within company policies while working independently Why This Role Is Different You won’t just estimate — you’ll influence design. Qualifications What You Bring Required Qualifications Ability to read and interpret complex architectural blueprints and create accurate takeoffs Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes Experience in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with fabrication equipment such as shears, brakes, CNC punch, lasers, welders, etc. Strong mathematical computation skills Excellent computer skills (including Excel proficiency) Strong interpersonal, telephone, and presentation skills Ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizational levels Solid understanding of generaloffice procedures Ability to work independently with limited supervision Sound decision-making skills within policy guidelines Preferred Qualifications Construction background or experience in commercial construction Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Hands-on sheet metal fabrication experience Ready to Build Something Exceptional?
